About Me
I spent most of my youth either in South Florida or the suburbs of Chicago. I went to many different schools in those areas and realized the impact of a good teacher. A couple of teachers I had as a teenager changed my life. At that point I knew that I had to teach. I have not come across many other professions with the same kind of ability to touch peoples lives in a positive way.
My initial goal was to become a professional instructor in the Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship program. I finished Level 3 in late 2009, but decided to take my teaching in another direction. I have, however, spent over 10 years giving riding and horsemanship lessons in preparation.
After 5 years teaching in the corporate world I decided to go to Colorado State University to complete a Masters in Adult Education and Training. I have learned a lot through the program and now plan to combine my loves for experiential learning and leadership development.
